Reflection Pool: A Preface to Vietnam



challenge     For a school project, we were tasked to create a fictional brand identity. Reflection Pool: A Preface to Vietnam is a traveling exhibition show that showcases one of Vietnam’s oldest art forms - water puppetry. The mission of the exhibition is to engage and educate folks of all ages on Vietnamese culture through song, dance, and immersive storytelling.

concept     This project pays homage to my first homecoming. It served as an outlet to reflect on my heritage and my experience being home. Therefore ‘reflection’ as a visual motif is expressed in many forms through a contemporary lens. Water is the driving force and throughline that ties the identity together.
