Google Smart Display: Spot Animations 



challenge     Google Smart Display devices enable users to interact with the Google Assistant by leveraging gaze as an invocation method. This allows for a natural interaction with GA without verbal cues. While at Hobbes, we were asked to create spot animations to introduce the latest feature within the product instructional flow.

concept     We created a cohesive set of spot animations that communicate the following concepts: Greeting, Privacy, and Success. Each illustration retains brand recognition through its use of graphic language, color, and motion. The set is also compatible for light and dark mode.
